Health Care

Tucson is home to the University Medical Center, the teaching hospital for the University of Arizona Medical School.  It is also home to the Arizona Cancer Center at the University of Arizona and ten other hospitals.  Northwest Medical Center at Oro Valley opened its doors in 2005 and is located just 15 minutes from Heritage Highlands.  Several other urgent care and emergency centers are also located near the community.

Located just outside the gates of Heritage Highlands is a state-of-the-art Fire Station with a full-time paramedic team and emergency medical equipment.

              

Heritage Highlands has a Fitness Center which caters to those who want an increased level of fitness. The center also provides educational and informational venues for our residents to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  Whether you are interested in organized classes, one-on-one time with a trainer or an independent fitness routine, your needs will be met in our Fitness Center.
